Genshin Impact Floral Artifact Earrings

Inspiration

Inspired by the vibrant world of Genshin Impact, I crafted a unique floral earring using bake-in clay that embodies the game’s enchanting essence. Each petal reflects the vivid colors and delicate designs found in the lush landscapes of Teyvat. As I molded the clay, I envisioned the characters adorned with similar nature-inspired accessories, celebrating their connection to the elements. This creation not only showcases my love for the game but also allows me to carry a piece of that fantasy with me. Every time, I feel a surge of creativity and adventure, much like the characters in the game.

In my journey of creativity, I found inspiration in upcycling, which led me to create a floral earring from bake-in clay, influenced by the vibrant aesthetics of Genshin Impact. Embracing sustainability, I transformed leftover clay and materials into a stunning accessory, infusing it with elements reminiscent of the game’s lush environments and whimsical design. This upcycled piece not only reflects my love for the fantasy world but also serves as a reminder of the beauty found in repurposing. I’m reminded of the importance of creativity, resourcefulness, and the magic that comes from giving new life to old materials.

Players take on the role of the Traveler, who is searching for their lost sibling while unraveling the mysteries of Teyvat and its seven elemental nations: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and more. Each nation is inspired by different cultures and mythologies, featuring stunning graphics and a vast open world filled with quests, treasures, and challenging foes. My Desired Aesthetics

Vision of the Project

To capture the enchanting aesthetics inspired by Genshin Impact, especially the Wanderer’s Troupe artifact, I envision a series of simple DIY projects that embody its whimsical charm. By embracing the stunning blue hues that characterize this artifact, I can create decorative pieces that reflect the captivating essence of adventure and creativity. This project not only allows me to express my love for Genshin Impact, but it also serves as a wonderful way to infuse my surroundings with inspiration and a sense of wonder, making it enjoyable for others as well.

Design Process

I created a small flower template using paper and then used flatten-out bake-in clay to shape floral designs and leaves. After shaping, I painted the pieces with glass paint and added details using pencil lead. I baked the artifact in the oven at 375°F for 5 minutes. Finally, I attached the chain and earring attachment using clay and baked it again.

The Final Product

In my final project inspired by Genshin Impact, I crafted a pair of stunning earrings that beautifully reflect the game’s aesthetic. These earrings are fully functional, showcasing intricate details that evoke the enchanting world of Teyvat. Alongside the earrings, I also created a delicate flower from a metal sheet, adding a unique touch to my work. With a clear vision in mind, I aimed for this project to be both easy to create and perfect for gifting. I was thrilled to present the earrings to my senior, hoping they would appreciate the craftsmanship and the inspiration drawn from such a beloved game.
