I have a difficult time defining my own aesthetic, as it feels like a very fluid combination of several different concepts. If I were to narrow it down, I’d say my aesthetic is a combination of tech, nature, metro, and retro. Partially, this comes from a respect/longing for past decades, possibly due to my exposure to music such as the Beatles, Billy Joel, and Bob Dylan at a young age. Furthermore, I’ve always had interest in technology through video games and several other facets. I also spent a lot of time in nature camping, skiing, hiking, etc. as a child, and have always felt a connection to nature. I’m still undecided on my final project, but I am thinking about a combination of technology and retro aesthetic, such as a light up speaker emulating an old record player.

This is a really cool aesthetic and it actually inspired me to look into midjourney a bit more since that is something that I hadn’t really messed around with before. It’s a bummer that it is paid because I would have liked to get some work with it. Maybe I will pay for it in the future who know but I am excited to see how this project turns out.
A metro, and retro aesthetic sounds awesome. In your AI generations I love the subway/ light rail thing going on. Do you mean metro as metropolitan or actually as a name for public transit, either way a cool direction!
Love the Midjourney use for visualizing the aesthetic. I’ve been using AI image generators a lot as of late for product design iterations. Such a unique and useful tool that sometimes I even forget to try to ideate and design something on my own. Are you planning on using AI to inspire designs for your final project?
