My inspiration for my upcycle project was a vintage/romantic aesthetic. I love the way that old typewriters look and the entire aesthetic surrounding black and white films. I was particularly inspired by the following image:

This is Leslie Knope from NBC’s Parks and Recreation. Her last-minute wedding dress came together as Ann Perkins pieced together newspaper clippings from Leslie’s career. I love the way they used paper to create this romantic look. The red heels and lipstick with the lace and the typography look very vintage.

This is the aesthetic that I am looking to achieve. I have a very old book and I want to use it and its pages to somehow create an artifact that mirrors this aesthetic.
