The idea I had for a dream catcher/christmas lights hybrid was going decently well until I broke the frame of it due to heavy pressure on it. I have not not reached that far in the project yet for me to see if the aesthetic will end up looking clunky, which worries me a bit. I got the materials reordered and am currently learning how to “knit” strings onto circular frames as seen on many DIY youtube channels.
Once I get all the materials, I will begin constructing the dream catcher and hope that it has a really nice aesthetic.

I am sorry to hear that you broke your frame. However, you already know how to make it so it is going to be easier and will take less time to do again. good luck this time.
If you are waiting for materials, perhaps a more detailed drawing will help you solidify your ideas, now that you’ve had some experience with the process. Would love to see any drawings you make.
I have a hula-hoop that I don’t need anymore and can work as a frame for a giant dream catcher. Let me know if you want it, neighbor 😉
Feel so sorry to hear the tragedy! I think the ITLL staff and adviser will be helpful on knit strings on the circular frame. Talk with Mo first. He’s quite helpful and experienced engineer
