I got all the materials! The light bulb is shiny, and the motor spins alright!
I laser-cut the acrylic parts, and those came out pretty good except I am worried about the gap between cylinder and motor because it is too tight. Hopefully, there is enough space between the motor shaft and cylinder to put rubber tape around the motor shaft to create friction to spin the cylinder.
My backup plan is to cut the hole little larger on the cylinder part and replace with thicker rubber around the shaft if the cylinder doesn’t spin with the tape.
I don’t have the pictures of the progress because I left my things on campus. Sorry 🙁

It’s great that you got your motor! I know that was a big issue for you beginning the project. Do you think your initial ideas will pan out? Or have you refined your design at all?
Keep it goung Jaehyung! Its great that you have a backup plan.
