The timeline for my construction will be to have my outlines and materials gathered by the end of this week.
The next week will be spent shaping the two swords via jigsaws, grinders, and dremels. I approximate the actual work taking two hours per sword, with the only difficulty finding time to head into the wood shop.
The following week will be spent applying paint and materials to create an appropriate look and some sealant that will not create a glossy look. Finished by using painters tape to outline the piece of the sword with GITD paint to create the effect used in the show.
The overall ETA will be the 21st of April.

Hi Joseph,
I love your idea. The swords design is very unique.
It looks that your time line is good. However, two hours to shape the swords seems optimistic. Good luck.
Great Job Joseph, looks like you have it all figured out. I think you have accounted enough time for the shaping of the swords however you didn’t seem to put enough emphasis on what your plan is for painting and how detailed it will be. Good Luck!
Looks like you have all planed out for the remainder of the semester. Have you taken into consideration how busy the woods shops could at this time of the year and if the shaping process takes longer than expected?
Looks simple but I am guessing the constructing that seems really hard. I hope you can finish the curvy shape flawlessly.
