I have always been delighted by hidden doors, speakeasys, and trap doors. The idea that any ordinary object could hold a wonderful secret behind it is really appealing to me. That’s why I thought for my final project for this course I would attempt to hide something in plain sight. Not having a whole room I could block off or modify I thought about going for something smaller. A piece of furniture with a secret compartment that only I would have access to. I came across these:

Of course it would need to incorporate some sort of aesthetic. I’m originally form California but have really fallen in love with the mountains and all that Colorado has to offer. So I would like to incorporate that into my design.

Hi Chris! I think that using these photos as inspiration is very useful when thinking of an overall aesthetic to be adding into your final project. If this is the route that you were to take with your final project you will have a lot of different unique characteristics to add in with whatever design you may choose! Cheers
This is an awesome idea! Regardless of whether you want to keep it a hidden spot of just want to add more storage space to a room, its a really cool idea and you will definitely get good use out of it!
