For my final project, I am making a shelf that has a terrarium incorporated into it. The shelf will be attached to the wall and will have room to hold things and will also be a growing terrarium.
Using the Bauhaus aesthetic, I plan to keep the shelf to minimal style, no unnecessary decorations and have a neutral color scheme. Looking through different layout designs from this aesthetic will give me inspiration for the shape and color of the shelf.
While making the shelf, I have to keep in mind the cost of materials, how I will put the terrarium inside the shelf and how big the shelf should be.

The initial design looks really good. With implementing the terrarium it helps add a rational reason to have something nice on that walls as it can have a better influence/oxygen flow than what a painting would provide.
Hey Nicole good job using the Bauhaus aesthetic to create a cool functional piece. I think the terrarium will add a nice natural aesthetic. I hope you figure out a way to efficiently water plants, etc.
I really like how you used some Bauhaus art to come up with a sketch of the shelf. I think the terrarium will add a nice piece to your shelf. Since you were going to build this out of wood, I would look at what sort of coating you need to apply to the inside of the terrarium so it doesn’t rot the wood.
I like the idea of incorporating a living object into a stationary one. I think that the terrarium will look really cool. Do you know where you are going to get the glass to make this project?
I like combining Bauhaus with terrariums, though I’m just a sucker for terrariums. It seems like you’ve got a lot to consider in terms of actual building, but your idea is pretty clear, I would start working on it soon to begin figuring out the bumps.
The shelf looks nice. The design is so good. I like the terrarium shelf idea i think it is going to be great. Good luck.
