Main Project Inspiration 2019: String Art

For my main project, I wanted to continue on with the filling up my room walls with art trend. My room was very empty to begin with and from the first project, I now have a wooden paintstick mirror hanging. For my main project, I wanted to create another piece of art that I can display on my wall.

This is a piece of art that caught my eye. The only materials needed are a piece of wood, some nails, some string, and a hammer. I want to reverse the placement of the string and have whatever picture I choose to be empty and the string to be on the outside.

Very cool idea, I also think that if you reversed the string, that would make the design eye catching too!

This is a really interesting idea that you can do a lot with! The wood and color of the string can make or break your aesthetic, so I suggest keeping it consistent.

These designs are extremely eye catching when walking into a room. There used to be boards designed to make this kind of art easier, which probably still exist somewhere. Are you doing this from scratch, or from something pre-existing?
