For my final project, I want to build something using some sort of electronics, circuits, and lights. I have worked on many projects that were electronics heavy, and I believe that I can utilize those skills to build an aesthetically pleasing final project.
Currently, I am planning to build sound activated LEDs design, which is similar to the design shown in the image above. However, I am still in the process of researching and studying how feasible it is to build that design while having limited time and budget.
Such a project can turn out wonderful if executed properly, since each components of this design relies on the other. Therefore, I’ll start by setting a plan for building this project in away that ensures getting it to function by the given deadline.

[…] Main Project Inspiration […]
This project could come out being really nice. You could even incorporate the speaker with the LED’s or even have water/bubbles output the amplitudes with leds lighting them up differently.
This is a great idea! I worked on a project similar to this a few years ago, and it would be worth looking into working with an Arudino or Teensy microcontroller to implement it. You can use fast fourier transforms to isolate the dominant incoming frequencies and translate them to an amplitude on an LED indicator like the one you used as an example.
