The inspiration for my final project came from a mix between mid century and antique furniture. Antique furniture is usually comprised of decorative wood combined with some sort of brass/gold. The design is very symmetric and has a very ‘American Colonial’ feel to it.
The mid-century furniture is very minimalistic. These usually consist of rectangular shapes with no decorative designs.
My design will combine both rectangular shapes, symmetry, and some bronze/copper. I have not decided whether I want legs on the night stand at all, but I do want the stand to be functional. Lights will need to be installed in the bronze pocket, kind of like the picture shown above.

This looks like it will look really cool when finished! I am very excited to see the final product. Do you plan on using it after the project is over?
