Plastic waste has a significant impact on the environment. Since most plastics are not degradable i’ve decided to use this material for my upcycle project. I’ve also been inspired from companies like Parley and Adidas who created products from plastic waste in the ocean. These types of products satisfy customer demands while also helping the environment. Truly inspirational upcycling projects.

Brandon – I really like your motivation to use plastic waste. You should watch Blue Planet. It does a really good job at showing the amount of plastic in the ocean. I am curious to see youy design process, maybe you could add a little bit about your brainstorming process!
Plastic sounds like a great material to use for this project! I am interested to know where this project is going to go. Do you have an ideas of what you’re going to make? I would love to see some progress pictures or an explanation of your thought process and ideation.
