The last two weeks were semi productive but I haven’t been able to make any real progress on my project. I finished the cad drawings and discussed how to machine it with Greg Potts. The material only got here last Friday so i have not had time to go into the machine shop. I have a lot of work to do before the final presentation but it will get done. Should be a few hours in the machine shop but totally manageable in a week. The bearings arroved a long time ago and I soaked them in acetone to dissolve the grease so it spins more freely.

Sorry that the materials coming in late has caused you to be behind. I’m confident in your machining skills to be able to finish this project on time. Keep up the good work!

Sounds as though you have fallen a little behind. That’s alright, as long as you know what still has to get done and have a plan for how to achieve it. Hope everything finished out strong! Excited to see the final project.

I’m sorry that you have had some setbacks with your project but it sounds like you are really making progress in the planning portion. Now that you got this part of the design done I’m sure the rest will go smoothly.
