I really love the thought you put into your project; matching your table, and having the right amount of lighting and ofcourse a good solid design. The execution is great and the product seems like a win!
Good job on your project! Regardless of your non-technical background, I think you chose a difficult project (with electrical components) and executed it beautifully! Additionally, good for you for staying under budget: that is not an easy feat. I am glad that you like your project and plan to make another one in the future with a large budget.
Glad you got it working. Do you think you’ve achieved your aesthetic goals? It seems to me that the project has sacrificed.your artistic goals for function and purpose. How else can you get your visual desires achieved? A frame or more treatments for the bulb mounts or something? It’s cool that you’ve got a functional piece, I just don’t see your chosen aesthetic. A frame would really have helped reach the visual of a pool or a fountain.
The vanity bars looks really nice and your idea to match your table was genius. I also liked the dimming feature for the light bulbs. Overall nice work!
Considering how much people spent on the other vanity mirrors, this is really amazing. I like that even though you did not have the engineering background, you were able to do some electrical wiring and setting up the system. Can you set up so that both the lights are controlled together? The final product came out good, and the aesthetic goals were well achieved.
