I believe I can bring a great deal of creativity to my team, as well as the technical experience necessary to make my and my pod member’s projects a reality. On many levels, I can contribute creativity to my pod. In class we discussed preliminary ideas for each of our projects, and we all bounced ideas off one another and came up with some really cool ideas/themes/aesthetics! We all had good ideas, bus as we talked about, the final design/fabrication step is often the most time consuming part of the project. One of my pod members is not an engineer, so in addition to helping her come up with ideas, I can help her turn her design into reality, using my knowledge of engineering. This project in particular, since it requires a dynamic aspect, will certainly require some level of thought be put into how it is actually made. Perhaps a simple battery and DC motor will be needed, or maybe more control is needed and an Arduino will be used. If it is powered by some other source (the wind, a hand crank, gravity, something like that) there will still most likely be moving parts, and my design background will come in handy there. I am excited to see what this project turns out to be, I have a lot of good ideas, I know something good will come out of it!

I can tell that your sketches are very unique and inspiring! you can definitely put that to work in the pod. In addition, imagination and creativity is a talent that not everyone has which can inspire good ideas and brilliant solutions

  • Your creativity and sketches are fantastic. With your engineering skills- any project can become a reality! Your last project was a great example of aesthetics, engineering, and design combined to make something very useful and cool. The project will be a lot of fun to create, and I look forward to using our teams skills to make amazing projects!

Your artistic sketches and technical finesse inspire me! Not only that, but I strongly believe that any wild idea you have (no matter how CRAZY) will be executed with precision and a solid vision in mind. In my mind, this is what made your upcycle project such a success. Glad to have someone like you to help me where I need it. PLEASE TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!
