My design process is fairly linear, but it does loop back to several similar steps like brainstorming ideas and making modifications.
The Upcycle project is in the looking for additional resources and materials (picture 2).
After brainstorming ideas for the laundry bag support structure, I’ve determined I need two pieces cut off the original legs (oxy acetylene cutting and welding torch.
I found additional materials today, a grate, from my grill that I found for free that’s just been sitting on my porch. The grate will be cut and welded to create a form support for the laundry bag itself.
I am still looking for materials for the laundry bag – I may need to purchase material and make one to keep the apple aesthetic as much as possible.

I like the way that you layed out your plan for the project! I think it will lead to a very nice finished product.
Love how detailed your design loop is! You really thought of everything here and I think the color changes help keep it organized. Not only that, but your manufacturing skills are going to come in handy here. Can’t wait to see how the project turns out!
Looks like you are making some serious progress with your project! I love seeing the table all broken apart and being cut to fit your design needs. Great planning and fantastic execution. Also, one of the first things I noticed in your design process diagram was your use of color. I think this is a great way to emphasize the important steps in your process and I believe you did well with this. Also, it’s super cool that you are such an expert with all these crazy tools…welding torches and all!
