Project Description
The Sand Frame houses sand, air bubbles and a fluid medium that drives the motion of the sand. When the frame is flipped upside down sand is trapped and held by air bubbles, but since the buoyancy of the air bubbles is not strong enough to hold the heavy sand the sand finds a way to escape between bubbles and falls to the base creating an aesthetically pleasing visual effect.
