Deciding on my final project was actually very hard, I had no idea where to start. Although I am not a musician by any means, I really enjoy playing some music to relax while I work. The problem that I encounter sometimes was that I had to connect my music devise into something to listen to it, headphones would get in the way of sustain activities, or the music was just not loud enough. So I started by wanting to work with speakers that would give me some flexibility in volume and range. Looking on line there was a lot of wireless speaker, and boom box that really catch my attention. Although they have a lot of good reviews they are very expensive and did not fit my aesthetic design I was imagining. I wanted my speakers to have a more natural look such as wood but the price range increased quite a bit ranging from about 250 to 900 dollars. So my goals for my final project to create speaker with an amp that will give me the volume levels to hear it all around my place. I also want to make them wireless so that their more flexible with any activity that I am doing such as homework in the living room, while I clean my apartment, or just hanging out with friends. Though a lot of thought I would also like for this system to be rearrangeable so that it is compact with minimal wires or have the speakers be set up at a distance from each other as a surround sound. Pictures below are shown as aesthetic ideas.
To make this speaker system unique I would also like to add to the mix an illusion of a hologram that will add more of a visual dynamic to the mix. The inspiration to make a hologram came from watching American hacker where he made a four edge pyramid from a CD case that worked with a phone. Hologram is to be placed under the amp creating what it seems as 3D images. Video is provided below.
