Thanks for checking out my brief credentials to work on your team. I’m a senior studying Mechanical Engineering (like teammate Ethan) and pursuing a Master’s degree concurrently with an emphasis on design. I have considerable experience with mechanical design and enjoy elegantly solving complex problems. See below for a semi-detailed skill-set:
- CAD Modeling: 1000+ hours in SolidWorks and Siemens NX, with emphasis on design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Production experience: machine shop experience on 2- and 3-axis milling machines, toolroom lathes, misc. hand tools, 3D printers, laser cutters, and mechanical assembly (pins, helicoils, etc.).
- Ideation and problem solving: enjoy working with difficult problems and helping teams develop innovative and attractive solutions. Ask me to help you with your problems!
- Writing and presentation: extensive writing and presentation experience, I would love to proofread reports and help you practice presentations.

All great skills to have! You’ve already helped me on the ideation front. Glad to have you around to help this semester!
Great to hear about your experience with modeling and production, I’m not too experienced yet but I’m very interested. I’m excited to have you as a teammate this coming semester.
