I come from a mechanical background, so I have decent experience in designing for manufacturing, CAD using SolidWorks, and GD&T drafting/tolerancing for part prints. Additionally, I know how to use most of the tools in the ITLL machine shop, the instron machine, and the laser cutter.
In my free time I really enjoy tinkering with electronics, and can program in Arduino, C++ and MATLAB. I can also solder, design PCBs using Atltium, and do some basic image editing. I consider my self to be a decent writer, so I would also be happy to proof read/edit reports and presentations along the way.
As you know, I learned how to use (and bought) a sewing machine for my intro project. If either of you would like to learn how to use it for your final project, I would be more than willing to show you what I know (and lend it to you for a little while)!
Once you have a better idea of what you want to do for your final project, hopefully I can figure out how I can be of help.

I could surely use your input on some manufacturing/design aspects of my project. Also, in the case that my project incorporates fabrics, it would be great to receive some basic sewing instruction. Looking forward to working with you!
