I am a mechanical engineering major, so my skills include the general suite of CAD, manufacturing, and component analysis. I have experience using the 3D printer, laser cutter, and most of the machines in the machine shop. Also, I am certified to use the welding workshop.
Outside of engineering, I am passionate about art and writing. I’ve taken several studio art classes and write often due to my creative writing minor. If my teammates need help generating creative ideas, drafting sketches of designs, or editing written reports, I could be of benefit.
I’m excited to help my teammates in any way possible and will do my best to accommodate their projects. Most of all, I’m looking forward to brainstorming ideas so that their designs meet their aesthetic potential.

It is awesome that you get to explore both the technical and creative side while in school. I feel like I haven’t really had the importunity to do much art or design for form. I don’t know if we get the chance this semester, but I’d love to learn some welding from you. I’ll definitely ask you for your creative input after I have a better idea of what I want to do for my project.
I’m looking forward to utilizing your help Hayden. It’s rather unique to pursue both engineering and creative writing. That should serve you well as you join a company or as sn entrepreneur.
